Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

zstat.org ("this site") is a free statistics conversion and admissions-reference tool. This page explains what data is processed, which third-party services are used, and what choices you have.

1. What this site does not collect

This site has no accounts, no login, and no registration forms. We do not request, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that directly identifies you.

The values you enter into the calculators (scores, sample sizes, raw data) are by default processed entirely within your own browser. They are never transmitted to a server and are never stored. The single exception is the AI analysis feature described in section 4.

2. Cookies and analytics (Google Analytics)

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use it — how many people visit, which tools are most used, and how long people stay. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects the following types of anonymous or pseudonymised data:

This data is used to improve the site's content and usability, and is not used to identify individual visitors. For details see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense to cover running costs. What you should know:

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time: visit Google Ads Settings to disable personalised ads. You can also manage cookie settings for many third-party vendors at once at www.aboutads.info.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies — see your browser's help pages for instructions. Note that blocking cookies does not remove ads; it only makes them less relevant to your interests.

4. The AI analysis feature

On the DSE, GSAT, hensachi, CSAT and Gaokao tabs, this site offers an entirely optional "AI analysis" button. Its data flow is:

5. External links

This site cites a number of primary sources from official bodies (JUPAS, university admission-score PDFs, ministry-of-education sites, and so on). Those sites have their own privacy policies; this site neither controls nor is responsible for how they handle data.

6. Children's privacy

This site is aimed primarily at students preparing for university admission and at educators, and its content is general and educational in nature. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Data security

The entire site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Because the site stores no personal user data and keeps no database of visitor records, the exposure from any data breach is inherently limited.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as features or regulations change. Updates take effect on this page immediately and the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. You are welcome to check back periodically.
